Well, it's that time of year again ... the Super Bowl has come and gone, Wiarton Willie saw his shadow, and now men everywhere can start to scramble to make Valentine's Day plans for their special someone. This blog post is intended to point Cambridge residents in the right direction to shop for Valentine's Day. While the idea of chocolate, flowers, and dinner is nothing new, I'll set out where you can go in Cambridge to get these Valentine's Day staples for your better half.
If you are new to Cambridge, or if you've been living under a rock, the absolute best homemade chocolate in the city can be found at Reid's Candy and Nut Shop in downtown Galt. Reid's has been serving city residents for more than 60 years and, if you like chocolate as much as my wife, is an institution in Cambridge. Check them out at:

While there are many different flower shops in Cambridge, I have always been pleased with The Flower Market in Southworks Mall. The Flower Market is a locally owned and operated, full-service florist and flower shop that has been in business for more than 22 years. Even better, their flowers can be delivered anywhere in the Cambridge, Kitchener-Waterloo, Guelph and Brantford regions. Check them out at:
