As posted a few days ago, the Cambridge Young Innovative Professionals (Yip's) group is hosting their 9 at Night...9 holes of golf at night in the dark using glow-in-the-dark balls! Sounds like fun and hopefully the weather cooperates! This is a group of young professionals 40 and under. If you're in the age group I encourage you to visit their website for more info on events.
Friday July 17 - Sunday July 19
The Uptown Waterloo Jazz Festival is taking place again this year! There will be lots of great performances taking place and it's definitely an event checking out. For more information and schedules please visit their website.

Cambridge Highland Games!
A few days ago we mentioned that the Cambridge Highland Games are taking place for the 40th year! Located in Churchill Park, people come from all over to partake in this great event! For more info click here.
Need your car washed?
Krown Rust Control on Sheldon Drive is raising money for the Children's Wish Foundation by hosting a Charity car wash & BBQ. Cost is $10 per vehicle. There's also live entertainment for the family! A fire truck and fire fighters will be here along with games, face painting and others displays. The characters from "Frozen", Anna, Elsa and Olaf, will be there from 11am to 1pm. The Cambridge Cruiserz will arrive with classic cars.Drew Leith and the Foundation will entertain. Multi instrumentalist Dave Walsh will also be here.
The Cambridge Food Bank in Desperate Need!
Also a quick note that if you have time this weekend, you may want to clean out your kitchen cupboards and donate some non-perishable food items to the Cambridge Self-Help Food Bank. Their shelves are at an all-time low and they are in desperate need of food and supplies. They are most in need of: canned meat and fish, canned vegetables, rice, canned fruit, cereal, gluten-free items, dry pasta, apple juice and small jars of peanut butter. If you could help out I am sure they would appreciate it!
That's it for now. I will also add quickly that if you haven't seen the show Canadian Legends at the Dunfield Theatre it is still playing and has been getting rave reviews! It's definitely worth checking out!
Have a fantastic weekend!
